Happy Happy New Year

Happy New Year People! Mabuhay!

I’ve been watching TV these past few days then I remembered that New Year was just around the corner.  So I wanted to write a New Year’s resolution if not a New Year wish list.  Have you done yours?  J

Wish list:

1.  A change of wardrobe.  Nothing beats a new look on New Year.  Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought of a wardrobe change but because it’s New Year, things have to change once in a while for the better.

2.  A Samsung camera.  It’s for my selca and personal/school use.  I’ve had this obsession with Samsung when I had my first touch screen cell phone last year.

3.  A pair of black tennis shoes like those of Tae Min of Shinee. Like any other Tae Min fan, I would like to have one of those super cool and trendy shoes. K-pop sure rocks!

4.  Another one is a scarf like that of Jang Keun Suk.  He wears it in almost every TV series that he has done.  It looks cool so I want to have one.

5.  A book store. I would like to have a bookstore of my own and name it “Oshii Tenseki”.  I’m just kidding. J

6.  DVDs of every series/movies that I love especially “He’s Beautiful” and “Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge”.

7.  To have a year supply of imported chocolates and others sweets and nuts. Kyah~

8.  To have a super kawaii Korean/Japanese boy chingoo. :3

9.  To learn how to cook without burning myself. If I had known that I would be this masiba, I would have long signed up for cooking lessons. I would also like to take Taekwondo lessons with my younger brother.

10. To forget someone from the past. I just hope there would be a day when I cannot even remember his name. If I could dedicate a song for him, it would be On and On by Dong Bang Shinki. Tagos sa puso talaga, syeyt!

11. I want to ride in an airplane. I want to visit Japan and Korea while I’m still a college student. I want to have a passport already.

12. Finish my manuscript. Believe it or not, I’ve already started three but I’ve finished none. So I wanted to finish even one of those. Kaya lang wala akong ka-romance-romance sa katawan ngayon. Bakit kaya?

13. To meet my favorite bands, singers and artists in person. I want to see Tae Min, Keun Suk, Hero and Kyu Hyun like crazy!

Resolution:

ü  Be more feminine. It was awkward when someone called me ‘Sir’ in a mall. I wore baggy clothes and my hair was kept in a dirty bun. The appealing but awkwardly slow-witted guy kept staring at me because the saleslady might have thought that I was a lesbian. Though it was okay for me being mistaken for a boy, it was nonetheless freaky.

ü  Be more confident. They say confidence makes you taller. I’m only 5’2, the height of a normal Filipina. Nevertheless, I still want to be tall.

ü  Be whiter. I have a warm undertone so it is expected that I have a tanned more like sunburned skin. What's more is that I live in a tropical and super init country so I always have sunburn. Daig ko pa ang nakatira sa Hawaii.

ü  Be lanky. Go on a diet. Ang taba ko na. Buti pa ‘yung sa Super Junior, nag-slim na. Kailangan ko na talagang mag-diet everlalu!

ü  Finish what I’ve started. I have this intricate attitude to not get through with what I have began. Like writing, cleaning, and almost anything.

ü  Learn to budget. It’s already January next month; still I don’t have any money. I’m as poor as a rat. I want to visit Korea and Japan! L

ü  Always be on time. I don’t want to be late in anything anymore. It’s nothing but trouble. I also don’t want my grades to drop so I want my projects to be passed on time.

ü  Blog every once in a while. Do not bore yourself to death. Practice playing guitar more. Sing more. Dance a lot. Read more. Whine less. Help more. Sigh less. Write more. Sleep less. Roam more. Tireless. Laugh more. Cry less. Study more. Pout less. Pray more. Trouble less.

ü  Change for the better. Follow Jesus. Buy a bible. Help others. Love. Donate blood. Be a better daughter. Be a better sister. Be a better friend. Be a better person!

My nine-year old sister wrote her resolution. She’s having a hard time with typing it herself. And she said she might have a hard time following it either. Here it is:

1.     1. Ayaw ko nang mang-api sa aking kapwa. I won’t fight with other people anymore.

2.     2.  Mag-iipon na ako ng pera para makabili akong bagong cellphone. I will keep money so I can buy a new cell phone.

3.     3. Tutulong ako sa aking kapwa. I will help other people.

4.     4. Mag-aaral na ako ng mabuti. I will be studying hard from now on.

5.   5. Hindi na ako magiging tamad. I won’t be indolent.

6.    6. Palagi na akong makikinig sa mga inuutos ng magulang ko. I will always follow my parents’ requests.

7.      Magbabasa na ako ng Bibliya at susundin ko ang mga utos ng Diyos. I will read the Bible and follow the commandments of the Lord.
