Greetings! J
It’s Christmas Eve. Guess what I’m up to? With Mom away this season, I’m the one tasked to be in charge of kitchen matters (aka duties inside the kitchen like washing the dishes, cooking and, of course, eating). I’m used to washing the dishes and eating because those things are what I do best, well, washing the plates is kind of harder than eating. But, cooking!? That is an exemption! I’m sixteen, what do you expect from a mere teenager like moi? Anyways, I tried the best that I could so I won’t be apologizing to all who ate my cooking. Kasalanan na nila ‘yon kung magsusuka man sila ngayon.
First, I tried the simplest thing I could make with my ultimate skill. Sandwich! (Do not laugh.) I made chicken sandwich! I’ve got no picture of it because it was all gone in a heartbeat. I’m so proud! You want to know my special recipe? All you need is chicken & sandwich. And there you have it! Chicken Sandwich. Korneeeeh.
The second cuisine is one of my favorites. Spaghetti! I made this cheongmal special for my consumers. The strands came out just fine. But the sauce was a major catastrophe. I tell you, next time na magpaplano na magluluto ng spaghetti, mag-o-order na lang kami sa Jollibee.
Last but not the least, ham! I browned it with pineapple juice, just as what my father told me. It worked ! J Then, we realized that we don’t know what to do with the ham, so we made it into ham sandwich! Yey, it’s another sandwich. The ham tasted sweet and a bit sour, maybe due to the sour taste pineapple, but nevertheless, it was good.
At least two out of the three things I made were fit for human consumption! My mom texted me that she was surprised to hear that I even entered the kitchen. Even I was pleased that no one got poisoned or burned. Siguro, luck was on my side while I was cooking.
Lesson learned: Never again enter the kitchen, just eat in a fast food chain!
Now, it’s already 2:30 am. My papa is so drunk that he forgot to put presents on my siblings ten (10) “Christmas socks”. Gotta go. I’ve to get ready for a fight tomorrow between my father and siblings. Buwahaha.

Anyeong hasseyo! Konbanwa. Merry Christmas!
How was your day? You don’t need to answer. Or better yet, you can leave it as a comment below my so-called article. Mine was uneventful, yet again.
I received three hundred and fifty bucks, today. Three people gave ‘em.
I also received a “pink purifying care bar soap with vitamin A” which removes impurities from your skin, formulated with certain facial skin care ingredients, provides care for your skin as well as your face, and rinses easily to leave your skin without feeling oily and greasy (Olay). I don’t know what it has gotta do with Christmas but I accepted it anyway.
We, my sister and two cousins, went food tripping. My wish was granted! I get to eat Buko salad. For those who don’t know what Buko salad is, Google it. We also ate spaghetti, ham sandwich, chocolate, ice cream, chicken sandwich and grahams. I ate the almost half of the ham I cooked. They were too full to even notice.
It’s very cold even though ours is a tropical country. I want to drink hot chocolate but we ran out of it. So I’ll have to stick with coffee while typing all this. Wait. I’ll pour one for myself first.
Okay. I finished this super boring article so I got to go. I have to prepare for a long out-of-town trip tomorrow morning in this extremely freezing weather condition. I need bulky coats, thick scarf and knitted gloves, as if I was going to the arctic. I hate cold weather. I hate waking up in the dark, freezing, searching for warmth from the blanket. HANEP SA ENGLISH!
